Ommzy stands on other people’s work: recipes, open data and free software. Here they all are, with their rights.
Recipes
Recipes by other authors are cited with the author’s name and a link to the original and its video. They are translated and adapted for portions. The rights stay with their authors. Among them:
An author who wants a recipe removed can write to us through the contact page.
Food and price data
- USDA FoodData Central: the nutrition of basic foods, public domain (CC0).
- Open Food Facts: products by barcode. Data © Open Food Facts contributors, under the Open Database License; pictures under CC BY-SA.
- The Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection: the open data on prices in the store chains.
- Kaufland, Lidl, BILLA, Fantastico, T MARKET, METRO and eBag: promotions, brochures and products from their public pages. The names, brands and pictures belong to the chains and makers.
Formulas and articles
Energy needs are worked out with the Mifflin–St Jeor equation (1990), and activity with published MET values. The library articles list their sources under each article.
Pictures
The illustrations on this site, in the library and some recipe pictures are made with artificial intelligence. Product pictures belong to the stores.
